Tremble Clefs Therapeutic Voice Therapy Singing has a natural therapeutic value for the Parkinson's voice. Low volume and breathy-quality are common symptoms of Parkinson's disease. This clinically beneficial program, providing vocal and movement exercise, generates new learning and comfortable challenges in a shared and supportive environment. No training or singing experience is required...just a willingness to have fun! "The singing has added many things. It helps the vocal cords but it's fun. Watch The Tremble Clefs in Action

Hendrix at (858) 273-6763 or Toll-Free at (858) 737-7576. Our Purpose Singing offers a "natural therapeutic treatment" for many voice symptoms associated with Parkinson. The Tremble Clefs is a dynamic group of people who meet regularly to share their love of singing, which has been found to help minimize some of the most common voice symptoms found in people with Parkinson's. Who can participate? Anyone with Parkinson's as well as interested family members and/or caregivers are welcome to participate. How does it work? The group meets weekly for breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups to improve posture, respiratory capacity and vocal volume. This leads into the rehearsal; singing popular music that engages the mind and body. Do I need musical training? No, only a desire to participate and a willingness to commit to our weekly rehearsals. What if I don't have transportation or if I'm in a wheelchair? We will try to connect you with a ride-share partner and provide assistance at rehearsal locations. Please call the Parkinson's Disease Association of San Diego at (858) 273-6763 to inquire about available transportation programs in San Diego County. Is there a cost or membership fee? There is no cost to participants as the program is funded through donations to the Parkinson's Disease Association of San Deigo. How do I join or get more information?
