Welcome.

My name is Ron Hendrix.  I have the privilege of serving as the Executive Director of the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego, alongside a fine staff and many dedicated volunteers.

On behalf of all of us who help to make PASD a special place of hope and encouragement for those challenged by PD and their care partners, I want to welcome you to our website.  I do hope you will spend some time checking out our many helpful resources, as well as the various ways for you to become involved in our mission to improve the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s.

We will strive to make this website a place where you will find fresh and accurate information on our programs, whether it be an educational seminar or one of our family services.  We will also work hard to provide updates on promising research and clinical treatments, an area so important to so many.

Needless to say, our fundraising activities, such as our 5K Walk and Fun Run and the annual gala, are vital in enabling us to sustain our programs and outreach efforts.  We hope you will consider joining us at these exciting and fun events.

Finally, I encourage you to share thoughts on how to make this site even more valuable to you or a loved one. Please feel free to contact us.
